Conclusion

Overall I am pleased with the outcome of my work. I feel at the beginning of the project I got off to a really good start and had plently of drawing ideas to work from. I wanted to create designs that were inspired from different patterns on man made buildings. I produced a variety of ideas to work from, picking out 4 main deisgns that I wanted to take further into the process element.

I feel this the process element is where I struggled most and can definetly improve on. I picked to specialise into hand screen printing as this is what I enjoy the most and am most skilled in. I felt that throughout the print process I was stuck for ideas and wasnt sure what to do with my designs. Therefore to improve this next time I am going to make sure I have brainstormed ideas and have plentt of options to choose from. In the end my designs came out very well and I used techniques such as foiling and flocking.

When it came to the context part of the project I felt that I did this really well and experimented with lots of different compositions with my designs. With the basic skills I already know on photoshop I was able repeat my designs and show lots of different ways in which my ideas could work from an interior view.
